It is not an easy task to decode Babasaheb's thoughts...And while I was finding it as difficult as possible to decode and write in a book, for several reasons, a tsunami of thoughts was scaring me.There are many controversies in publishing a commentary, explanation, or 'decoding' based on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's book 'Buddha and His Dhamma' in the form of a book. These dangers are more evident in the context of the criticism of the original text and the special aspects of Ambedkar's role. There are differences of opinion among the followers of Navayana (Ambedkarite Buddhism) and traditional Buddhism (e.g., Theravada), which can lead to tension or misunderstanding between the two groups. (Which already seems to be widespread.) Traditional Buddhists do not consider Ambedkar's religion (Navayana) to be 'real' Buddhism, but neo-Buddhists consider his religion to be 'real'. This creates controversy and confusion. In fact, Dr. Ambedkar created "Navayana" or Neo-Buddhism, which was for the benefit of society and is therefore spiritually very different from the original Buddhism. Dr. Ambedkar's formulation of Buddhism has made it somewhat difficult to understand the original Buddhism and has created an ideological divide in society. In such a situation, it is natural to have a debate of 'Ambedkar vs Buddha Dhamma', as there are fundamental differences between the two ideologies. Dr. Ambedkar's book "The Buddha and His Dhamma" has, to some extent, complicated the understanding of original Buddhism and its meaning. Some of the major reasons for this are as follows:Two different approaches:Traditional Buddhism: This religion is based on the Buddha, his teachings, and the stories of his life, emphasizing spirituality and philosophical practices such as karma, reincarnation, and nirvana. These religions show the path to spiritual liberation. Ambedkarite Buddhism: It is a 'Navayana' Buddhism, based on Dr. Ambedkar's social, political, and moral ideals, with a strong emphasis on social justice, equality, and human rights. Ambedkar redefined some of the Buddha's teachings according to his thinking, making him an instrument of social revolution.Due to these two different perspectives, two different meanings of the same religion emerge, leading to confusion in understanding which is the original religion. ..In the book "The Buddha and His Dhamma," written by Dr. Ambedkar, Babasaheb himself writes in the preface that he hopes that "my questions will excite the readers and contribute to finding solutions to these problems." (Content: Ambedkar expects readers to actively discuss Buddhist literature, express their differences, and be active in solving the problems of Buddhism.) This book takes the risk of writing a deeply influential and highly conceptual but controversial text that stands at the crossroads of religion, social reform, and politics. (New things to new readers, Information, but the true teachings of the Buddha go to the bottom of the original Buddha Dhamma. With references, although I am making a sincere effort to tell, the readers should share their thoughts by reading, understanding, checking the truth, and experiencing the whole book without prejudice. Read it till the end. Read more
